I've been following Sam and Jim of samandjimgotohollywood.com from their second episode -- it has been amazing to see their trials and successes over the past couple (few?) years, and now they find themselves very much in the position of I think the typical Hollywood writer right now with the Strike. The show is an excellent listen, and due to their habit of not putting out shows for months at a stretch, it doesn't take too long to listen to their whole recent history as it unfolds - I recommend it. And doubt that anyone can come away not pulling for the WGA after becoming so "personally" acquainted with these two very charismatic guys.

Nice. I am all for writers getting paid more. Without them we (the general public of the world) have nothing to entertain us and will have to make due, watching at silly video's on Youtube. I hope they get what they deserve (meant in a good way and not in a death row way)

Jody, this is great. Thank you--I've been trying to figure out how to blog about this myself, but you beat me to pretty much everything I wanted to say, so I've just linked to this entry in my own journal.
